What if I haven't been to church in a long time or never have been to a church?
Visitors are always welcome! Jesus came for the sick and the lonely, let God's word connect with you. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him". (John 3:16-17). |

May I participate in Holy Communion?
We believe Holy Communion is a sacrament. It is a special gift given by Jesus Christ, on the night he was betrayed, to baptized believers (Matt. 28:19). It is not meant for everyone, nor is it to be taken just because other people are coming forward. In preparation for the Lord's Supper you need first to reflect on the following questions:
- Do I believe that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and my only means of forgiveness? (1Cor. 11-28)
- Am I sorry for not living the perfect life God demands, and do I promise, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to lead a God-pleasing life? (1 Thess. 4:1-2)
- Do I believe that, as I receive the bread and wine, both body and blood of my Lord come to me through this sacramental miracle? (1 Cor. 11:29)
If you have trouble answering "yes" to any of these questions, we suggest you take one of the pew Bibles and review 1 Cor. 11:27-34, page 1136. If you still have not found answer(s) you seek, please talk to the Pastor or Elder on duty before coming to communion. Persons who are LC-MS or in fellowship with the LC-MS are most welcome. |

Am I expected to give an offering?
God requires nothing other than your faithfulness and your soul. We believe that everything we have is a gift from God. As "managers or stewards" of these gifts, we honor God and worship Him by giving offerings. Visitors to Trinity are welcome to participate in giving as the Holy Spirit guides their heart. Guest envelopes are available in the pew card rack. |
